Tony, thanks for the comment. I like the concept of your product very much because I never liked the leather/vinyl bra look or the bolt on bug deflectors. Those products worked but took away from the look of the car. Bras in particular often caused more damage than they protected you from because they always moved around at speed.

I had the 262 8-cylinder in the Monza. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I had to drop the engine to change the 2 rear plugs on one side. When I bought the car in '79, it had the original plugs in it...lol. I also installed those heavy metal speakers. I hung them from the rook over the back seat. Looking back it probably wasn't the smartest place to hang an 8lb metal box. If I had ever crashed into anything they would have easily torn loose and taken my head off. But I was a teen and never wrong about anything. :-)

Andy, I appreciate your help in spreading the word about Applied Films paint protection film. With the downward spiral of the economy people will be buying their next vehicle and holding onto it for many years. I doubt the "drive new every two" motto is going to be happening very often. The more miles a vehicle racks up, the worse the front end paint looks from road debris. We know our product will keep the vehicles paint looking new for years after the purchase. In fact I found out about the paint protection film after I bought my '04 GTO. It has a perfect paint job( except for one stone chip in the front) and I had planned on getting one of the ugly leather bras for the front. Once I discovered the 3M film I was very happy with the look, or lack of look to the film. People dont even know its on the vehicle unless I point it out to them.

About the Monza. My friend had a 305 cubic inch motor in a similar sized vehicle back in the early 80's. I want to say it was a Skylark...but Im not sure. Wow was it a bullet.

thanks again!
