One of West Michigan’s favorite pastimes is recreational water sport. The many rivers and lakes including “the Big Lake” (Michigan) afford many different opportunities for fishing, cruising, water-skiing and just plain fun.
The annual boat show is always a favorite event and is coming to Grand Rapids this week. Beginning Wednesday, February 18th and ending Sunday February 22nd, the show will be taking place in Devos Hall which is located at 303 Monroe Ave NW. Heralded as the oldest boat show in Michigan, the Grand Rapids Boat Show will feature more than 300 boats from more than 30 dealers. On hand will be motor yachts, cruisers, ski boats, pontoon boats, runabouts and fishing boats.
One of the attractions at the Grand Rapids Boat Show this year is the Big Air
Wakeboard show which takes place in a 100,000 gallon indoor pool. Other attractions include a Kayak clinic, the latest trends in Marine Electronics and register to win a Starcraft 16′ Fishing Boat.
See you there!

Guess I never thought about Grand Rapids being a water sports area. Learning for out of towners is a good blog. I am ready for Spring.
