Cute Red Brick Building With a Hot Tub On Top

Cherry St Lofts are a great addition to our affordable downtown Grand Rapids condo scene. Located at 143 Cherry St SE (the corner of LaGrave and Cherry), This lovely 90 year old red brick building formerly known as Dayton Apartments has been completely renovated by Virgin Soil LLC into cool, loft style condos.

In it’s day, Dayton Apartments were billed as the finest apartments in town but time had taken it’s toll. The interior of the building was badly decayed so the timing was right for the developer to gut it and start fresh.

Cherry St Lofts now offer 8 brand new condo units complete with hardwood floors, large kitchens, a roof top deck with hot tub, fireplace, off street parking, a reasonable monthly association fee of $165 and ample living space with over 900 square feet.

Cherry St condos are located near St. Mary’s downtown and within 5 minutes walking distance to Cooley Law School. Some of the other attractions close by are Rosa Parks Circle, the Van Andel Arena and the Grand Rapids Art Museum.

Andy, some good descriptions of urban living in Grand Rapids. This seems to be a trend that is not going away soon. Each generation or at least every other one has tried a new way of living since 1700. This is a trend that has a waays to go and develope. see ya. Another Eric
